#TBT. Throwback Thursday!

Here’s a quick glimpse at the evolution of our logo! The first sketched version was done on a notepad back in 2011!

The idea was simple, combine old school industrial Hoboken roots with modern day Hoboken esthetics. Where blue collar meets white collar…all in one emblem. An eight-toothed gear wheel gave us the historic industrial vibe while still allowing us to creatively embed an ‘H’ into it. We also wanted a ‘tip of the cap’ to Hoboken’s official emblem out of respect, while making ours, our own. As the years passed, the logo modernized to what it is today!

We are very proud of this simple logo concept and everything that has gone into it. 🤙

Our Team

Brendan Drury

Co-Founder & Head Brewer
Brendan picked up homebrewing back in 2007. He strongly admired the craft beer community and wanted to be a part of the culture. Soon after, craft beer started to blow up in the US and while most enthusiasts become ‘craft beer nerds’, Brendan became more of a ‘brewery nerd’. Having worked in finance for 10 years, his messenger bag started to fill with brewery books/magazines. He soon built his own brewing system in his garage and knew then his true calling. It was time for a career change.

Andrew Zebrowski

Co-Founder & Head of Sales
Andrew eat, sleeps, and breathes craft beer. He enjoys drinking it too. He also loves NJ, Hoboken, his wife, and his son Jack. You’ll find Andrew all over Hoboken & NYC building the HBC brand and drinking great beer. He’s literally everywhere, so pull up a stool next time you see him.
